Elephant Ear

 Fried dough sold in outdoor food stands carnivals and amusement parks around America.  Similar to donuts,

dough is deep fried and coated with sugar. Mouth texture is chewy and has sweet taste.  The flat wide shape gives the name elephant ears.

Funnel cake originated in pennsylvina, made with batter through a funnel deep fried in hot oil in a circular pattern. It is served with powdered sugar. batter is made from butter and flour. It is commonly offered in carnivals, and fairs in America.
